Granddaughter of Mar, Athena's been helping her grandmother for several centuries, traveling the universe on The Disposer (Mar's garbage scow) and assisting The Guardians in their quest to protect the universe. Athena accompanied Alpha to the Ohm home world and Central City and has since stuck around to help protect the place. She also makes regular forays into space to check on problem spots and report back to Alpha and The Guardians.
Athena is beautiful, intelligent, opinionated, stubborn, smart and savvy. And, like her grandmother, she's tough as nails -- a worthy adversary if crossed. She's also reputed to be among the best of shuttle pilots in the known universe.
