The Hall of Heroes is dedicated to ordinary citizens who've made a difference...
...they're not the famous or the decorated - they're just regular people who you, our friends, want to see acknowledged for steps they've taken to make things better for all of us.
Whether a friend, neighbor, teacher, or somebody you saw written-up in your local paper, if there's someone you believe deserves mention, E-mail us their name and tell us why they're a hero.

HALL OF HEROES Because this site was launched on the anniversary of 9/11, we decided this page would be dedicated, initially, to the heroes of United Flight 93, brave citizens who defied a band of hate-mongering terrorists and lost their lives in the process - bringing their plane down in a remote field rather than letting hijackers fly it into a building.
