Entry #17 - 11.26.5502

Heading out of town with Athena and Mar for a week of diving in the western provinces. It's a much-needed break for all, though I suspect they planned this trip specifically to stop me from agonizing over whatever's happening with 101 and 3.14 in Giza. It's been 5 days since 3.14 traveled back to ancient Egypt in an effort to retrieve 101, and just yesterday we received this cryptic (and rather worrisome) message through the Telepod's circuitry:

"Alpha - have arrived safely in the 'land of the Pharaohs' and found 101 well, though causing way more trouble than I can figure how to handle. Regardless, will try my best to reverse his effects on history. No time to explain right now (ironic pun not intended) - will stay another couple weeks and if still not successful will abandon hope and return home, before it's too late.

Yours truly, 3.14"

Needless to say, I'm more than a little concerned. But as Mar and Athena have pointed out, there's nothing we can do about whatever's taken place so far away. And so, we're off for a break - leaving 50-50, 45 and 14/2 to watch over the Academy complex.
