Alpha's Journal
Chronicling the ongoing adventures of Vermin's Den residents.

Entry #31 - 5.16.5503

The good news is that the ripple of destructive energy I wrote about in my last journal entry is dissipating, and Sona has a lead on how to repair the dimensional fragmentation Mar suffered on her way home. The bad news is that several galaxies were destroyed before the wave began dying-out, and Sona's lead is just that -- a lead, not an actual solution. Whether it will eventually result in "putting Mar back together again" is yet to be seen.

Meanwhile, we've been experiencing reoccurring temporal shifts as echoes of the aforementioned ripple reverberate through, and are distorted by, the energy bubble surrounding the Ohm Central City. And while this hasn't posed any physical threat, it's been both disconcerting and inconveniencing -- it's rather hard to get a "fix" on people and things outside your galaxy when your relative position in the time/space continuum keeps changing. As a result, we've been unable to locate Mar in all her various states of being, and posting of this journal entry has been delayed by almost a month (according the calendar, at any rate). And while the latter is no big deal, the former has us quite worried -- the longer it takes to resolve Mar's being, the harder it's likely going to be.

In the meantime, adding to our stress, has been the issue of Hershel's rotten hench-rats -- just last night 101 overheard them plotting to sabotage our systems (once again) and take one of the rats hostage. And though they weren't terribly specific about their plans, we've no doubt as to their resolve and evil capabilities.

Nothing more to report; no real details to share -- just trying to resolve our latest challenges and keep our sanity in the process.
