Richie and Gina were captured by Dr. Hershel in the sewers beneath the Ohm central city; transformed into evil rat servants bent on doing the doctor's rotten bidding.
Richie and Gina were picked-out by Dr. Hershel because of their oversized egos and under-sized talents and generosity. Being bitter, jealous and deluded little rats, they were perfect candidates to serve Hershel's nasty plans.
